This is the Tamiya Missouri ca. 1991 in 1/350 + infini detail set. The construction time was about 1 year with about 700 hours. For the detail set, almost everything had to be sanded off from the finished part and replaced with PE parts. The most complex parts were the radar system and the Cruse Missile rocket launcher. The deck was also painted again with a darker shade of brown in order to come as close as possible to the original. The waterline is dotted with olive and AK Slime grime. The salt on the hull was brushed on with diluted vallejo putty.
