For the U boat I used a Herring tin and black Miliput for the water. Then dry brushing several layers of green to blue, finishing white for the water. For the Titanic I used a ice cube tray to cast resin ice cubes, then the tray became the base. I used a after market wood self-adhesive decking for the ship that I got from eBay. I made the water in the same way as the u boat model.
