The Schwinn Continental 10-Speed Racer. This is a model of a 10-speed bicycle common in the 1970s through the 90s. It was produced byMPC Models and reproduced in 2023 by round2models. It is 1/8 scale. It’s accessories include a child seat, rolled-up blanket, tire pump and thermos. The handlebars were customized by individually wrapping each side in thin strips of black tape as was done when these bikes were popular. It was built during a 24 hour building contest to include painting and chrome preparation (SOOO much chrome). It was built utilizing all the common street bike accessories as opposed to a racing configuration to make a more realistic appearance, and was done in high gloss red.
