There is a lot of detail in a Spitfire’s cockpit that gets hidden by the bulky pilot’s seat. I didn’t include it all in my 1/5 scale Mk IX but there was a lot that I did include. Here are some pictures taken at various stages in the build. The model is on public display at the Solent Sky Museum in Southampton.
