Meng 1/35 scale Renault FT-17 tank. I made this kit to represent a tank from circa 1926 as a Chinese National Revolutionary Army tank during the Northern Expedition against Warlord Wu Peifu, 11 July 1926. Wonderful kit to build and the only issue was fit with the suspension on either side of the turret, there is a white metal strut supplied and it was a finicky fit. Only addition was a chain. Start to finish was about 40 hours of work. Made a little scene for it from scraps including an arm from a Tamiya kit and scratch barbwire. Base took an afternoon to put together. Painted with Tamiya acrylics with Citadel and Vallejo uses for details. Oil dots used to weather along with an oil wash and pigments for the exhaust, tracks and highlights.
