My 1/72 Bandai Perfect Grade Millennium Falcon from Star Wars build.

The model is based on the actual 5′ filming model as it was seen in the original release of Star Wars(1977) and has the three lefs landing gear an d not the five leg configuration seen in later films.

I painted, weathered and lit the model to be as close to the original as possible.

I have included pictures of my model next to the filming miniature for comparison.

The model was base painted in Floquil reefer white.

Paints used were Model Master, Floquil and Tamiya. Colors were mixed and toned down for accurate scale.

The weathering was accomplished with pencil,chalk,pastels,air brush, my finger, paper towel, tissue and brush.
