Front cab and wheels are from the Tamiya 1/35 U.S. Armored personnel carrier M3A2 Half track. Engine and rear suspension is from the AMT Lola T-8800 Indy car kit. Rear dual wheels are from the Tamiya 88mm gun kit. Surf boards are hand made from balsa with home made decals and covered with Modge Podge.I used various details from the Academy 1/35 tank accessorie 2 kit. Rear frame work is built from styrene tube pinned and glued together. Chain is from an old necklace. License plate is left over from something. I painted unit with Tamiya olive green, then a quick shot of flat clear. Weathering was done with various crushed charcoals applied with a brush and then covered with acrylic clear for pastel and or pencil drawings. Decals are left overs from various kits that I saved.
My personal info.
I am 57, live in Woodstock, Ga. USA. Have been building models for 40 years. I love creating things from nothing using left over junk. I hate throwing away parts that are left over. I used the half track rear section for another build which I will post in the future. I like to build hot rods, rat rods, show cars, apocalypse stuff , SY FY, and classic race cars. I love kit bashing and scratch building.
