This is M Razali Ahmad’s original “Build-out-of Box” Airfix LFG Roland C-II Walfisch Vintage 1960s with no modifications. The only additional item added are drilled holes for the fine nylon string rigging. The kit build is quite straightforward, with putty needed due to the mould is from the age since it was first produced in vintage 1960’s. The LFG Roland C.II, usually known It as the Walfisch (Whale), was an advanced German reconnaissance aircraft of World War I. It was manufactured by Luft-Fahrzeug-Gesellschaft G.m.b.H. The C.II entered service in the spring of 1916. Because of its speed, when it was first introduced, few enemy aircraft could catch it level flight.
