Scale 1/700 Delphis Model + a ton of tiny bits and pieces from the deepest corners of naval fanaticism.

A small, crowded harbor with a hundred tiny brass men and a lot of patience to enlarge, repaint, reposition, and glue them… But the biggest job was on the ship, for which I thank the creator of the model, Maurizio Maggi of Delphis Model, for guiding my hand… towards the asylum. A special thanks also to Maurizio Ertreo who went out of his way several times to give me valuable advice (also destined for the asylum).

A personal touch are those strange spots you see in the water. As a child, I took a short cruise in Greece between some islands. I clearly remember the ferry sailing in a sea mottled with pink. They were huge jellyfish that were pushed away by the bow of the boat. A happy memory with my father that I wanted to recreate in this little diorama.
