The model is made from the 1/12 Tamiya Honda RC166 kit, plus metal Tamiya detail up kits for the wheel spokes and rims, drive chain and front forks. The bike has a few extras like metal seat rivets, foam blocks for mounting the fuel tank on, and is displayed on a wooden work bench from the period. Work bench and tools are all scratchbuilt, as is the oil can and newspaper. Paints were mostly Humbrol enamels and a rattle can of A Honda red for the tank and seat. The model was the first one i did after a twenty year break doing other things such as model engineering and radio control car racing, and took roughly six weeks of spare time. Extra photos added.
