SHOWCASE

Assembly of the model required some putty here and there. Since there was no driver, I used a figure to make one. I cut the body and arms, re-arranged them and painted the figure. The model primed with acrylic gray. As base coat I used a light yellowish brown. Chassis painted and added some small rust chips. After two failed attempts, I removed everything, primed again and I changed camo pattern and colors. Using blue tack I did a hard edge camo. Then the chassis and wheels painted and weathered. Also holes drilled at the wheels. Truck and chassis glued together and then the model varnished and applied the decals. Also an excessive weathering took place underneath the truck. Rust chips with acrylic dark gray. Also weathered with three tones of brown washes. Then I draw some streaking grim lines. Rusty stains with two enamel rust tones. Splatter mud from beneath and the lower sides of the truck. Accessories took place inside the truck. At last a coat of matte varnish was applied.
