This Diorama shows a Geobukseon sailing triumphantly past a sinking Japanese warship . It’s a 1/700 resin and photo-etch model from Artist Hobby. The build took roughly two weeks to complete. I re-carved the dragon’s head to add more detail and added other details such as the crew hatches and the collapsable sail masts. The diorama was made from a yoghurt pot lid and wall filler. I used the photo etch sails from the kit to make the sinking Japanese ship and added some pieces of styrene sheet to give the effect of floating debris. I achieved the sea effect by painting the base with Humberol gloss black and then working through lighter shades of blue and green before finishing of with the white wave tips.
