David di Michelangelo scale 1/35 by Luigi Fusco

The project was born as a tribute to my city that is Florence.

It refers to the transfer of Michelangelo Buonarroti’s David from Piazza della Signoria to the Accademia museum in 1873, which lasted 5 days.

The whole model is scratch-built, while the figures are modified kits assembled in the right poses for the scene.

I used multiple acrylic colors, pencil graphite, chalk, wood for the structure and plastic for the building.

It took me about 4 months to make it
