SHOWCASE

I’m The Scale Modeler and I bought this kit because I wanted to make the iconic Lancaster in the Tiger Force scheme. The Tiger Force squadron in WWII was a planned British Commonwealth long-range heavy bomber unit intended for action against Japan but was disbanded before seeing combat due to Japan’s surrender. The kit is Avro Lancaster B.1(F.E.)/B.III Airfix | No. A08013 | 1:72 Unfortunately, there were many errors with the kit, the main being that most of the panel lines were either incorrect or completely missing. So I had to do days and days of filling and scribing. Needless to say, I got there in the end. To create an air of realism I took the model to a disused WWII runway near me and took some atmospheric pictures. The model will be featured in a future YouTube video on my channel, but you can subscribe to be notified when it is uploaded. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzH0Iw-zigTidfEfBPr8iQA
