The work time was 2 weeks, approximately 72 working hours. The kit is Tamiya/Italeri 1/48 Arado Ar 196A. I mostly use Tamiya Acrylic paint for the plane body, the sea was use artist acrylic for coloring and then apply a thin clear resin on the sea surface. I am using an oil paint and thinning with turpentine to do “washing” on the plane surface. I use Tamiya panel line accent color “Brown” for the weathering effect. Use Mr.Mark softer for decal, it will soften the decal significantly and allow it to conform to the surface of the plastic part. I use a sponge with a little bit of aluminium paint (Tamiya XF-16) and stamp the paint on the surface to create Scratch effects on the plane. I use cotton to create a water splash effect. Use Mr.color super clear III to highlight the splash effect.
