Star Wars A-Wing Starfighter, 1/72 scale Bandai. Typical of Bandai’s incredible skill at engineering and moulding, this kit only took a few hours to build.
Moulded in colour I decided to make this A-Wing a bit different in appearance. The model was painted in Tamiya IJN colours on a base of black modulation to enhance the surface detail and give the model depth. A few tiles were painted a third colour (ocean blue) to represent repaired tiles. Blaster damage/impacts were made using sponge application of silver and black paints and then black oils to give streaking.

Details, including the pilot, were painted with GW and Vallejo paints. The entire model was done with a black pin wash and streaked by the engines with more black to show exhaust stains. Also added black pigment to the central engine.
The tower and base came with the kit and were painted sky grey and then given a wash with Tamiya Panel Liner.
