Hello there! I’m Alessandro Clerici, a 41-year-old model maker with a deep-rooted passion for bringing history to life through miniature craftsmanship. Based in the heart of Florence, Italy, I’ve been immersed in the world of modeling since 2010, inspired by the city’s rich artistic and historical tapestry.
My journey began with the thrill of Tamya’s Mini 4WD, which ignited a lifelong fascination with scaled-down worlds. From there, I delved into the intricate realm of railway modeling, crafting a highly detailed 1:160 scale masterpiece that consumed several years. My passion for historical accuracy led me to create evocative dioramas of both World Wars.
Today, I primarily focus on capturing the essence of military conflicts through 1:35 scale dioramas. I’m also the proud administrator of the “The Art of Modeling” Facebook group, where I share my work and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
